The world's leading standards bodies issued a joint declaration calling on all countries to recognize, support and adopt international standards in order to contribute directly to the three pillars of the Italian G20 presidency: People, Planet and Prosperity.
A common language for digital currencies
With the rise of decentralized cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin, there is also an increased need for a common language to facilitate their safe and secure use. Digital token identifiers (DTIs) fulfil this role so long as they are the same for everyone. A new International Standard has just been developed to ensure that they are.
