| World Metrology Day 2023 With the growing global demand for safe and high-quality food, accurate and reliable measurements are essential at every stage of the food supply chain. "Measurements supporting the global food system" is the theme of this year's World Metrology Day, which is celebrated every year on 20 May. Its aim is to provide the necessary tools and standards to ensure that food products meet the required levels of quality, safety and regulatory compliance. Quality labs Laboratory testing is prone to errors that may have a negative impact on test results. This is why proficiency testing (PT), a formal type of interlaboratory comparisons, plays a crucial role in ensuring the consistency and comparability of results across different laboratories. The newly updated ISO/IEC 17043 enables PT providers to competently monitor the quality of a laboratory's performance. Get the most out the standard with new slides and a webinar.
